This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies Wellness Wire uses, and the choices you have. We use a small set of first-party cookies; we do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not sell cookie-derived information.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember you between visits. "Session cookies" are deleted when you close your browser; "persistent cookies" remain until they expire or you delete them.

Some modern browsers replace cookies with other storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage, partitioned storage); we treat these equivalently under this Policy.

Cookies We Use

We group cookies into three categories: strictly necessary, preferences, and analytics. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not sell cookie-derived information.

Strictly Necessary

Any strictly-necessary cookies are limited to what the site needs to function. These cannot be turned off without breaking basic functionality.

Preferences

Remember small reading preferences: saved articles, font-size choice, whether the TOC sidebar is expanded or collapsed, and similar UI state. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand, in aggregate, which articles are read and how the site performs. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track you across sites. Where Google Analytics 4 is enabled, it sets first-party analytics cookies (for example, _ga and _ga_*) to measure aggregate traffic; it is not used for advertising, and we do not permit it to combine your data across other sites.

Third-Party Cookies

We use a small number of reputable vendors to process analytics on our behalf: Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless) and, where enabled, Google Analytics 4. Where a vendor sets cookies, it does so in a first-party context with strict purpose limitation — we do not allow it to combine data about you across other sites it serves.

You can review each vendor’s own cookie and privacy disclosures on their respective websites (Cloudflare and Google).

Your Choices

You can manage cookies at the browser level — most browsers let you block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete cookies after a session. Blocking cookies entirely may disable some features of the Services.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

The Services do not currently detect or act on Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track browser signals. We also do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
